Well, no middle of the night posts like I anticipated. I guess I slept harder than usual, which is a good thing really.
So, in starting a blog I must ask, how does one actually blog? Obviously you get online and write 'stuff' and then complete strangers (and friends) can respond. So I suppose the real question is what does one write about? Am I really supposed to be as brutally honest as I am in my journal entries? As I keep reading, it really doesn't matter if you offend someone, but I'd like to avoid it if I can. Hmm.
And the other thing is, how do I keep this interesting for you the reader? I fear I lead a rather boring life, although there are some moments...which I plan to share with all of you.
Well, since the day is barely started I'm sure something is bound to happen, and should anything in fact take place, I shall recount it here! Until then, do something completely random like, picking an old song, writing a story about it and then sending it to a friend (make it a happy story that'll make said friend smile).

How does one blog? That is a rather difficult question to answer. Some of my favorite styles are:
www.secret-agent-josephine.com
www.lookydaddy.com
www.dooce.com
www.sweetjuniper.com
www.missdoxie.com
Among others. I look, mainly, for structuring when I read other people's blogs. I thought my adding another blog to the blogosphere would just be tossing another shoe onto the thousands of shoes in the closet, so to speak, and in a way, that's true, but then I realized that I’m writing about me, my life, and no one else can offer that experience. It can be your thoughts, your dreams, something you did that day, but always add your voice, your perspective.
The best blog entries take some care, some thought. I'd suggest looking around a bit and seeing what other people do, but also to take the time to write rawly, with passion. There's always time to edit. I have more thoughts, but this is getting long. Maybe I should email you. Hehe.
Oh, and that part about keeping things interesting?
I don't think you'll have a problem. A tattoo?? Really??
I'm just trying to imagine you with a tattoo. Also, if you don't have anything to say, you don't have to force it, you don't have to post. Don't feel like you let your loyal readers down if you go a few days or a week without posting. We'll miss you, of course, but it will make your next post that much more anticipated!
Rambling is always acceptable too, because good things usually come out of unclear thoughts.
